Grace Temple Church of God in Christ is a “Church for the whole family”.  Our Purpose is to love God and to love you. We are committed to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ, come join us in prayer, praise, and worship.

Grace Temple Church of God in Christ – is a Bible believing, soul saving church.  We are dedicated to sharing and spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ to our membership, community and to the world.  We are a refuge for the wounded, downtrodden and a spiritual hospital for the sick.  We are living epistles committed to righteousness through the study of the Word of God.  Welcome to a higher place of praise.

The Women’s Empowerment Ministry

To empower is to invest.  It is to commit resources for future benefits.  It means to endow with authority or power.  Today, more than ever, women need to be empowered.  The Women’s Empowerment Ministry will be designed to give support, encouragement and assistance to fellow sisters in the faith.  This is accomplished through a series of fellowships, worship services, Bible studies, professional development and physical training.  Strong women help make families, which makes strong churches, which makes strong communities.  Grace Temple COGIC Women’s Empowerment Ministry changing the world one woman at a time!

The Men’s Ministry

The purpose of our Men’s Ministry will be to touch men’s lives through love and to relieve the pressures of the world through a relationship with Jesus Christ.  We will do this by encouraging discipline and mentoring, which will encourage them to mature spiritually.  Men will then be empowered to serve Christ, their families, church and community.  This will equip them to fulfill their God given ministries.

“And the things that thou has heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.”  2 Timothy 2:2

The nursery and preschool  will be available to children - 6 months through 4 years old.

The volunteer staff will provide safe, gentle care while taking advantage of the opportunity to teach children about God demonstrated through daily life.  We believe in building a solid spiritual foundation through songs, stories, puppets, dance and a variety of leadership experiences.  All of this says to a young child, “this is your church and you belong here!” The nursery/preschool will be available for Sunday services.
